Ohio Problem Gambling Clinical Fellowship

Jamie Hopkins (she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and an Independent Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with a Gambling Endorsement (LICDC-GAMBp). She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and her Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky, where she concentrated in Clinical Social Work.

Since July 2022, Jamie has served as a Substance Use and Problem Gambling Counselor at Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services in Amelia, Ohio. In addition, working with Inclusive Counseling in June 2025. Jamie is passionate about advancing her expertise in gambling disorder treatment, clinical integration, and advocacy, with a commitment to expanding access to gambling-informed care across Ohio’s behavioral health system.

Lisa Schaefer, MS, MSSA, LISW-S, LICDC-CS, GAMB-p, is an EMDR Certified Therapist with nearly two decades of experience specializing in addiction and mental health treatment. Throughout her career, Lisa has worked across diverse settings, including residential treatment, outpatient programs, and the criminal justice system, providing trauma-informed and integrative care to individuals and families.

Lisa is a proud member of the Problem Gambling Network of Ohio (PGNO) and is honored to have been selected as a PGNO Fellow, reflecting her dedication to advancing professional standards in problem gambling awareness and treatment. Through this fellowship, she continues to expand her knowledge of gambling disorder prevention, treatment, and advocacy while collaborating with leaders dedicated to addressing the intersection of addiction, mental health, and community wellness. Lisa is deeply committed to integrating these insights into her clinical work—offering compassionate, evidence-based support and helping individuals rebuild trust, stability, and a renewed sense of hope.

As the founder of A Mindful Lotus, LLC, Lisa blends clinical expertise with a holistic, mind-body-spirit approach. She integrates EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic practices to help clients reconnect with themselves and move toward wholeness. At her core, Lisa believes healing begins with connection—within ourselves and with others.

Eric Stone is a behavioral health leader, educator, and advocate dedicated to expanding access to compassionate, evidence based care. He currently serves as the Director of the Crisis Center for Talbert House in Hamilton County, where he oversees critical mental health and crisis response services that support individuals and families in their most vulnerable moments. In addition to his leadership role, Eric provides individual therapy to clients impacted by addiction, trauma, and veteran related concerns, integrating trauma informed, person centered, and EMDR based approaches to promote healing and resilience.

Eric holds dual licences as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor designation (LPCC S) and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC). He is also EMDR trained, allowing him to provide advanced trauma treatment tailored to the needs of diverse clients.

Eric is passionate about developing the future of the counseling field by teaching psychology courses at Cincinnati State and mentoring graduate counseling interns. A recent MBA graduate from Miami University’s Farmer School of Business, Eric combines clinical expertise with strategic insight to strengthen behavioral health systems and community partnerships. Passionate about reducing stigma and improving service access, he remains committed to fostering environments, both organizationally and therapeutically, where people feel safe, supported, and empowered to move toward change and recovery.

Kelsey Vasicek, BS, LCDCIII, GAMB, is the Opiate Response Team Clinician for Alternative Paths in Medina County. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Toledo and has worked on the Forensic Team since 2019, supporting justice-involved individuals within the behavioral health community. Her work spans overdose response, prevention education in local schools, and support for individuals in the Medina County Jail, offering resources for recovery, case management, and harm reduction. In 2024, she collaborated with the Medina County Drug Task Force to launch a harm reduction initiative and helped develop the Medina County Citizen Circle to support community reentry.
