Agency Service Consultation Overview

The Problem Gambling Service Consultation Project addresses a critical gap in recognizing, preventing, and treating gambling-related harms in Ohio’s behavioral health and social service sectors.

This multi-phase project uses an evidence-informed consultation model. PGNO guides agencies through service integration, capacity building, workflow redesign, policy development, and cross-agency learning with a focus on systems such as intake and assessment, treatment, prevention, communications, human resources, etc.

Work includes agency-specific assessments, the creation of tailored integration tools, graduated funding to incentivize participation, targeted workforce training, and leadership engagement in systems change. By aligning agency goals with best practices, the project strengthens infrastructure and service quality, directly advancing PGNO’s mission to expand Ohio’s problem gambling service capacity.
