— UPCOMING EVENT
This virtual learning opportunity will take place on November 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM.
Cost: This is a no-cost training opportunity.
Description:
Join us for the outcomes presentation and graduation of the Logic Model & Evaluation Planning (LME) Project, the second phase of Problem Gambling Network of Ohio's Community Planning Framework Initiative, facilitated in partnership with You Thrive Training & Consulting, LLC.
How do organizations move from understanding their communities' needs to developing meaningful, measurable prevention initiatives? The LME Project helps bridge that gap by guiding participating organizations through the process of transforming Community Readiness Assessment findings into data-informed prevention plans.
During this presentation, You Thrive will introduce key concepts of logic model development and evaluation planning, highlighting how participants used interactive training and individualized coaching to develop plans that connect community needs, activities, intended outcomes, and methods for measuring progress. Envision Partnerships and Summit County Community Partnership will share their experiences, completed plans, lessons learned, and next steps.
Attendees will gain practical insight into how community readiness findings can inform prevention planning, how logic models help connect activities to measurable outcomes, and how evaluation planning supports informed decision-making. Through real-world examples, attendees will explore how community data can guide future prevention initiatives and support meaningful, sustainable efforts.
Learning Objectives:
- Explain how logic models and evaluation planning can support data-informed decision-making, program improvement, and accountability in problem gambling prevention.
- Identify strategies and practical approaches shared by other participating organizations that can strengthen their own prevention planning and evaluation efforts.
- Describe next steps for implementing their evaluation plans and using data to measure progress, assess outcomes, and improve problem gambling prevention programs in their
communities. - Present their program logic models and evaluation plans, demonstrating how program activities align with intended outcomes and prevention goals.
