— UPCOMING EVENT
Join Katrina Arroyo, LPCC, LICDC-GAMB, ICGC-I and fellow gambling treatment professionals for an open forum and guided discussion on When Policy Meets Practice: Clinical Implications of Gambling Expansion.
This open forum invites clinicians to engage in an open, reflective conversation about the evolving legislative, legal, and ethical tensions surrounding gambling and gambling-related harm. As gambling expansion, digital platforms, and sports betting continue to accelerate, providers are navigating increasingly complex intersections between client care, regulatory frameworks, industry influence, and professional ethics.
Participants will have space to discuss real-world scenarios and explore how shifting laws and policies impact clinical decision-making, advocacy efforts, and the responsibilities of providers working with individuals, families, and communities affected by gambling-related harm. PGNO Communications Manager, James Brill joins the discussion to provide insight into advocacy inside the Statehouse.
This virtual learning opportunity will take place on Wednesday, February 25 from 12:00pm - 1:30pm.
Note: This is an open, discussion-based session designed for learning and connection. As such, CEUs will not be provided.
