Community Ambassador Collaborative Application
The Community Ambassador Collaborative will bring together individuals with lived experience and affected others to form a speakers bureau. Participants will receive training in public speaking and storytelling, helping them share how problem gambling has affected their lives and communities as well as ways communities can work to mitigate gambling-related harm.
Meetings will alternate between in-person sessions at PGNO’s Columbus office and virtual meetings via Zoom. The project will culminate in the professional production of short videos featuring storytelling from each Ambassador..
Following the project’s completion, Ambassadors will be invited to join PGNO’S Speakers Bureau and take part in future speaking engagements, continuing to amplify awareness and inspire hope across Ohio communities.
