Prevention Fellowship Graduation - From Why to How: Integrating Problem Gambling Prevention

Schedule: This virtual graduation will run on Friday, October 10th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST. It will consist of 2 total hours of content.

 

Course description: The Prevention Fellowship Graduation highlights the journey of prevention professionals who have advanced from why problem gambling prevention matters to how it can be meaningfully integrated across the prevention field. At a time when the role of prevention is being closely examined, Fellows demonstrate the strength and importance of our field by developing sustainable, evidence-informed initiatives that expand the reach of problem gambling prevention and strengthen Ohio’s prevention workforce.

 

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Articulate the importance of integrating problem gambling prevention within broader prevention efforts and recognize its role in strengthening the field.
  • Identify practical strategies and lessons learned from Fellows’ projects that can inform prevention initiatives in diverse communities.
  • Understand how evidence-informed approaches and partnerships can advance sustainable systems change in problem gambling prevention.
