The goals of the program are to prepare clinicians in providing gambling treatment services, aiding private practitioners and community agencies in improving gambling treatment services, professional development and strengthening Ohio’s workforce. This includes skills such as the ability to provide clinical treatment in person, telephonically and virtually, to serve as a trainer on topics related to gambling treatment and to serve as a general resource regionally and at the state level on gambling treatment. The Fellowship is comprised of training, clinical consultation, case conceptualization and professional development. The program concludes with Fellows providing an oral case presentation.

Foundational Goals of the Fellowship
Develop knowledge of content-specific standards of practice, develop subject expertise, and gain life-long learning skills. Fellows will also acquire advanced training in clinical, research, teaching, and administrative areas.
Engage in working relationships and collaborations with mentors and new interdisciplinary affiliates, with emphasis on building and working on a culture of partnerships and teams.
Develop a personal leadership style and cultivate leadership skills aiming to enhance communication and dissemination skills, and lead and affect change for healthcare improvements.
Use the six dimensions of healthcare improvement as the general philosophy for activities: safe, timely, effective, efficient, patient-centered, and equitable. Fellows will evaluate changes in healthcare and policy, and develop skills to apply this knowledge.
LPC
Delaney is mental health counselor at CHC Addiction Services, working with clients struggling with addiction, substance use, and problem gambling. She believes that there is no "one size fits all" approach to counseling, and works with clients on an individual and group basis either in outpatient or inpatient services.
LSW, LCDCIII
Amanda is the Outpatient Team Lead at the Center for Addiction Treatment. She has over 15 years of experience working in mental health and addiction, and has recently began working with problem gambling clients.
MSW, LISW-S, LICDC-CS, GAMB
Daphne currently works inside Medina County Jail as the Substance Use Service Coordinator for Alternative Paths, making sure there are AA/NA and peer supporters continuing to provide support services while she provides education about the disease of addiction to inmates.
