The Mid-Central Alliance on Problem Gambling and the Indiana Problem Gambling Awareness Program are pleased to present a fall training opportunity in Indianapolis.
This training event is designed for counselors working in the field of disordered gambling treatment, prevention, or advocacy.
Training topics include:
- Identification of Gambling Disorders
- Clinical Approaches & Interventions
- Gambling Treatment Referral
- Gaming Industry Panel on Responsible Gaming Practices

Attendees will receive 11 CEU’s approved by the National Council on Problem Gambling. These education hours will also count for Indiana Problem Gambling Counselor hours.
Presenter: Janet has served as the Executive Director for the Louisiana Association on Compulsive Gambling since January, 2014. She began her work with LACG in 1999 as the Director for the Center of Recovery-CORE. Janet has been in the counseling field since 1985.
Panel: This training will also include a panel discussion with a diverse group working in responsible gaming in Indiana.
